The Greatest Journey: Endings and New Beginnings

Therapeutic Harp Music For Comfort and Release

Sue Hoadley, Harpist

The Greatest Journey provides practical, effective tools to help families and their loved ones come to closure with dignity and grace. The pure tones of the harp, known by the ancients and now recognized by modern scientists, are a powerful tool used to bring comfort, relaxation and peace. Trained therapeutic musicians now play in hospices and hospitals throughout the world, providing this musical solace. At the end of a person’s life the music that is the most effective is arrhythmic, has no recognizible melody, and is soft and simple in timbre and texture.

As an integral part of our Dying Consciously: The Greatest Journey project, we now offer this music to be played for the person in transition in the final days. No matter what stage of the process they are in, there is a deep benefit. This music is dedicated to the truth that the dying process is a natural passage and that a person may come to this transition in beauty and grace.

Music composed and played by Sue Hoadley, Certified Music Practitioner, Energy Medicine Practitioner, Spiritual counselor, and Therapeutic Musician to hospices and hospitals
